The crusts are definitely loosening off and not so visible - nobody who doesn't know mentions anything, nor do I catch them glancing at them. It certainly helps to have existing hair to brush forward though.

The stitches are itchy and I'm looking forward to getting them removed. Although not essential, they will dissolve, I will be pleased to get rid of them instead of waiting. Photos to follow.
